August Adventures - it's a long one

Lots of things have been happening in August, and we're only half way through.

Harris moved to the 4/5 year old classroom

 Cara moved to the Older 3s classroom.

And Nick is officially a 2nd grader with Mrs. Brown!

Nick also go to go flying for the first time with his Boy Scout Troop.  My dad has already offered to pay for his to go to flight school when he gets older if it is something he wants to do.

While Nick was flying, Mom, Cara, and I went shopping for Cara's dance supplies.  Isn't she precious?

Later that day, we helped several friends celebrate their birthdays.  First up was Ben's 8th birthday at Hickory Dickory Dock.

Next we headed over to celebrate Lauren's 5th birthday!  Nick really enjoyed riding Lauren's pink John Deere tractor!

Slacker Mom... pictures from July in August

School started back for me on August 2, but I actually started back the week before to get my room ready.  Little good it did me since maintenance decided to "fix" my carpet the day before open house and moved EVERYTHING out of my room.  That's another story for another time though.  Here's some photos from July!

VBS - at First United Methodist.  I volunteered to be a helper instead of a teacher this year.  All the children had a great time learning about God.

We also hosted our annual Sunday School pool party.

 Lauren actually JUMPED off the diving board.

 Hannah was all smiles.

 And Harper had a blast just splashing.

Harris went to the dentist for the first time too!
