Cara 17 Months - July 2, 2010

Here's Cara last July 2009 at 5 months old.

She was just learning to sit by herself.

Here's Miss Cara at 17 months - pouting because she didn't get her way.

At 17 months, Cara:

• weighs about 21 1/2 - 22 pounds.
• is using her words more and more to let us know what she needs.
• is able to climb up and down stairs (and most anything else she wants)
• prefers Mommy to Daddy
• wears a bracelet, necklace, and ring and calls them her "pretty, pretty".
• follows her brothers around and tries to copy them.
• is beginning to show a love of books.
• enjoys being rocked and sung to at bedtime.
• sleeps 10-12 hours a night.

As a mom of two boys, I still absolutely LOVE dressing Cara up every day with matching shoes and bows. We are so lucky to have the opportunity to raise boys and a girl.
