Nick's New Sandbox

Saturday was a great day! I got a new sandbox. Daddy started getting it out of the box. Who needs sand when you have a really cool box?

Once Dad got it into my play area though, I got very interested in what he was doing.

Check out how much fun I'm having.

Afterwards, Daddy set up the picnic table that matches my sandbox. I helped too.

My favorite people in the whole world came to see me - Big Dan and Big Mama!

Nick on Big Dan's Tractor

Not much to report this week. Nick's been busy playing outside in all this beautiful weather. Other than that... Here are some pictures from this week.

New Sliding Board!!!

We had a busy week! Daddy put up my new sliding board. I can climb us the step and slide down ALL BY MYSELF!!! I love it. I also like walking the railroad ties like a balance beam.

I also helped Daddy and Peepaw put in the pipe for our drainage outside that washed away a few months ago. I was a huge help.

Our neighbor, Margaret, also let me "ride" on her 4 wheeler. Mommy isn't too sure about that.

My friend, Zach, turned 5 this week and I got to go to the science center for his party. I really liked the blocks in the playroom.

I learned a new trick this week. I can climb over the rail on my crib. Uh oh. Daddy had to put up a special "tent" so I can't get out and hurt myself.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Zach's 2nd Birthday (Go John Deere)

Woo Hoo. Today was a fun day. My friend Zach had his 2nd birthday party today. And the theme was JOHN DEERE. I was super excited about that. I started out at home with the dogs on my feet. Mom was glad I didn't decide to wear them to the party.

Zach had this really cool John Deere tractor that I drove, and drove, and drove. The only thing is... I can't drive. Daddy tried to teach me, but I either kept going in circles or kept running into things (and people).

Then came my favorite part of the party, CUP CAKES. Boy was it good. When I was finished, I was messy. I screamed until Daddy cleaned me up.

Then I went on a big tractor ride outside. Here I am with Aunt Amanda and Zach.

Afterwards, I rode the tractor again with my friend Anna Barrett. Whew, I was exhausted after my busy day.

On another note, Chris and I had our 12 week baby checkup on Thursday. The doctor put the doppler on my stomach, told me to lie back, and we immediately heard a heartbeat that was nice and strong. This baby did so much better than Nick at his 12 week checkup. The little turkey wouldn't stay still long enough for the doctor to listen (surprise, surprise). Hopefully, this is a sign that this new child will be a little calmer than Nick. Here's a picture of me at 12 weeks. I'm beginning to show and grow out of my regular clothes.

I also thought anyone who reads this would get a kick out of my Dad at age 12 when he earned his Eagle Scout award. Go BIG DAN!!
