Nick's 1st Camping Trip

On April 16, Nick went on his first boys camping trip in Damascus, Virginia. Chris, Pepaw, his cousin Bodie and lots of other guys met up there for a weekend of hiking, cooking outside, and sleeping in tents. Chris was in charge of taking pictures so here are the highlights.

Harris was in awe of Macyn. He was so little (16 months) when Cara was born that he didn't understand and FREAKED out when he came to see me in the hospital. He kept calling his cousin "his" Macyn on our way to see her.

Cara was so sweet. She gave her new baby cousin a few kisses. Of course she liked her better if Mommy wasn't holding her.

Too Much Fun

Little Miss Cara decided just riding Thomas wasn't as much fun as pushing him down the slope at top speed.

Nick is showing me one of his gymnastic moves. He loves going to Foothills every week to jump and play.

Chatham turned ONE on March 27! To celebrate, we headed to Rock Barn for his ACC themed party. Cara of course had to wear her Clemson shirt.

Chris took the boys camping last weekend in the back yard while Cara and I slept in our nice soft beds.

About a week ago, I showed Cara how to climb up her slide. Guess she's a quick learner because she LOVES to climb and slide down ALL BY HERSELF!

My dad turned 60-something on April 7. Chris thought it would be hilarious to give him a little birthday surprise. Big Dan had a few choice words I won't repeat on the blog.
