Girls' Day at Discovery Kids

Cara & Hannah never get to play together because their mommies are so busy, so Amanda and I decided to take them to Tweetsie.  Sadly, it was raining (again) so plan B was Discovery Kids in Huntersville.  The little girls played while the big girls caught up.  They cried when it was time for Cara to come home.  More girl time will be planned soon.

Statesville Water Park

There aren't a lot of water parks around us for little kids to enjoy, so Carrie found this one in Statesville.  It was cheap and fun - my kind of activity!

Harrison's Surgery

Harris has had strep 6 times in 5 months.  The surgeon decided it was time to take out his tonsils.  

 Chris and Harris played about 20 games of Uno while we were waiting.

 Poor baby didn't want to wake up and go home.  He hasn't been sick since.  Crossing fingers.

July 4th

This year some of our favorite cousins got to come visit.  Yay!  Of course we headed out to the lake.  The weather was sunny one minute and storming the next so our fun was for short periods of time.
