Gators / Bouncers / Jetskiing / Weddings /23 Weeks

Mommy can't believe how much my hair has lightened up and how well I'm tanning. Here I am at 21 months.

Ever since my friend Zach's 2nd birthday party back in March, I've been more obsessed with tractors. Mom and Dad decided to go ahead and buy me an early birthday present. Look out world, I've got wheels! Check out my new John Deere Gator! I really wanted the one seater, but Mom made me get a two person one. I guess that means I'll be driving Harris around for a while. When mom has another kid, the last one has to ride in the back.

Mom and Dad were feeling pretty generous, so they also bought me a new bouncer. Mom says it so that I can jump in either inside or out to help me get rid of some of my excess energy. I don't know what she means by that.

We went out to the lake on Saturday to help Uncle Dan celebrate his 28th birthday. I got to ride on the jet ski! Daddy even let Mommy and Baby Harris ride since we stayed close to shore and didn't go too fast. Woo Hoo.

I also sat on giant pile of rocks. I'm king of the world!

Ate homemade ice cream.

And brought Uncle Dan a cold one.

Afterwards, I played the piano like Stevie Wonder.

Chris and I had a wedding at Rock Barn that night for one of the teacher's daughter.

Here are the girls from South Newton.

My friend Brooke and I loved the delicious cake!

Here's Lisa and me. Her daughter, Lauren, is due about 6 weeks before Harris. The kids at school keep telling us our children should get married when they grow up.

Week 23 - Nothing much going on this week. Harris got his first hiccups during science EOG testing this week. I look kinda gross in this picture. I'd been outside for a 2 year old's birthday party for a couple hours.

Spa Time Fun / Train Table / Week 22

Mommy and Daddy opened up the spa this past weekend because the weather has been so nice. It's like a GIANT bath tub. It even has bubbles. I love to play in it!!!

Quack, Quack!!
(it's really funny when he bends over with no diaper on and his little bottom sticks out)

Since I've gotten my new Thomas train table, I've been having so much fun. Saturday, I decided I needed to try something new with Thomas. Mommy heard a big crash and found me ON my train table. I just couldn't play with my trains as well when I was on the floor.

Week 22 - All has been going well. I've started developing Carpal Tunnel in my left wrist. It happened when I was pregnant with Nick, but not till the last month. Chris has to wrap my wrist with a bag of ice every night so it doesn't hurt so much. Baby Harris is starting to plump up. He's weighs almost 1 pound and is about 11 inches long.

Earlier this week, Nick was giving Baby Harris his morning kiss (he lifts my shirt and kisses my stomach), and he noticed that my belly button was popping out. He said, "Oh, Mommy's penis!" Imagine trying to explain to your 21 month old that Mommy doesn't have a penis.

Visiting Moose Lodge / MY NEW PLAYROOM! / Mother's Day & Boat Rides / Week 21

I got to play with my friend Zach last week. Zach just got a BRAND NEW cool outdoor play gym that he's named Moose Lodge. Don't we look cute?

Mommy let me wear my hat to school the other day just for fun. She made me take a picture though because she liked that I was clean and calm.

The most exciting thing that happened this week was that I got a NEW PLAYROOM!!!! Mommy's cats went to live with her friend Shanna, so Mommy and Daddy turned that room into a room just for ME (and Harris when he arrives). I am so excited. It has new paint with each wall matching the chairs on my table, carpet, and all my toys. AND - Nana and PeePaw bought me a train table just for my Thomas trains.

BEFORE (notice the peach walls and green and purple plywood floor)

Check me playing with my new train. Woo Hoo!

Special thanks to Kristi for inspiring me to try out web video.
On Sunday, we went out to the lake for Nick's first boat ride of the year. He loves boats!

Week 21 - As I continue to grow, several people have asked if I'm having twins. The answer is definitely NO! I'm just getting a big stomach. I think people see me right after I eat.

Discoveries/Accidents/Mother's Day Banquet & Week 20

Chris's grandfather passed away this past week, so my parents kept Nick for us so we could attend all the funeral and receiving events. While at their house, he and Big Dan went to check out Chris's jetski in the boat house. Nick was so proud of what he found. Big Mama was NOT so thrilled when he came to show it to her. These were taken from a cell phone, so they are kind of fuzzy. (KRISTI-Be warned if you're looking at these.)

Oh yes, that is a snake skin my son is holding. Imagine my surprise when those pictures came through my cell.

The next day, Amanda picked him up from school and apologized for his face. Apparently he'd had a little accident at school. Poor Nick!!!

Nick has figured out BUBBLES! Unfortunately, he's too little to actually blow them by himself so Chris or I have to help and we all end up sticky. Luckily, I found our Bubble Generator in the attic - one of the super cool gifts Nick received for his birthday last year. Now it is a non-messy awesome time for all!

First United Methodist had its annual Mother/Child banquet today. Doesn't Nick look handsome!

20 WEEKS - I've reached the half-way point in my pregnancy. Now it's a countdown - 20 more weeks to go. I've been feeling Harris move around for the past few weeks, and once in a while Chris would be able to feel a slight bump. This past Friday, I laid down for bed and Harris went wild. He was kicking and moving around. Not only did Chris get to feel him, he would SEE my stomach jumping each time he kicked me hard. I thought this child might not be as active as Nick, but I was very wrong. He is a little jumping bean just like his big brother!
