A look into April...

I took my first graders on their annual trip to Asheboro Zoo last week.  Best. Trip. Ever!  The kids were so well behaved.  Chris and I only had 3 in our group.  My intern / babysitter / former student and best teen I know, Alyssa, went with us.

We didn't have official Easter pictures taken this year.  I know, I know, but I'm just way too tired and busy.  we did have a few snapped at church though.

Marching Quickly Through March

March was a really busy month.  We had several birthday parties and lots of awards. 

Nick earned a Scout badge

 Happy St. Patrick's Day!

 My AMAZING Battle of the Books team took 1st place in the district competition.  We even beat the all time top score.  We head to regional competition on April 23.

 The kids had to read 18 books.

 Yee Haw - Chatham turned THREE and kicked off the celebration with a cowboy party.

Nick earned TERRIFIC KID for the 3rd quarter!  So proud of how far this kid has come :)

 We also celebrated Hannah's 3rd birthday party as princesses!  (Kind of a skanky princess, but what the heck, she had fun!)

The best part about March was I FINISHED my National Boards Renewal.  The Boards panel stated that it would take about 40 hours work for renewal.  I call BS!  Amanda and I calculated that we worked over 115 hours.  Now I just have to wait until November to find out the results.
