Christmas 2007

What a joyous season! The look on my sons' faces was wonderful.

Baby Harris (thumb in mouth as usual)
Who needs reindeer, I've got a horsie!
It's Christmas morning, I'll keep my eyes shut tight and hope Santa brought me some presents.
Harrison's first Christmas
Okay mom, we're up, we're ready, let's stop taking pictures and open presents.
I guess Nick was afraid we'd take his gifts away from him (he was rather naughty this year)

Taking his rescue tower with him

Children have always been told if you get coal in your stocking it's because you've been bad. Nick ASKED for coal in his - why? Because that's what Thomas and Percy the trains get in their stockings.

Ooh, I get presents too?

Hey, I've got tools

And the re-gifting begins... We started with a lovely crystal plug in snowman

And ended with Chris receiving the bat phone (yes, the 1980s Batman phone)

Mom and Dad

Harris was so excited with his animals. He was even "talking" to them.

And the picture of the season (you know we couldn't go a week without a Nickism). Nick decided to pee outside (thanks to the men in our family who thought it was a great idea). My dad's dog Goldi got in the way so both Goldi and Nick got wet. Here's how Nick was brought to me.

And what Christmas is really about - family.

Harris's Baptism again / First Foods / 3 Months Old

We finally got some more pictures of Harris's baptism last Sunday. He was such a good boy in church.
Here we are ready to go
Pastors Dan and Amy
The Blessing of the Child

Mommy's Sweet Angel

Our Family (look how Nick and Chris have the same expression)
Harris with His Godparents (my brother Dan and his wife Andrea)
My big sis Shana
The Timmerman's
Nick with his Aunt Andrea
Harris and Lauren (she's a month older)

New Foods - We started Harris on solids. Green beans are not one of his favorite, but he LOVES Sweet Potatoes. I was suprised at how well he did eating like a big boy.

Just a little messy

We can't go through an entire week without Nick doing something he isn't suppose to. We let him watch a movie while we got ready the other day. He decided to take all the balls he could reach off my tree and line them up on the sofa. Thanks Nick.

With Nick, it's always something. Last year he cut his head open at daycare on a book shelf and had to be glued back together.

This year, he decided to jump OFF the book shelves and smacked his eye on a table.

Nick & Zach
We took Harris to Levine Children's Hospital at Carolina Medical Center on Tuesday to have some blood tests run. Dr. Kaplan doesn't think that he'll have any clotting or bleeding issues as he gets older. We haven't hear the official results, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for good news. Harris is three months old now - he weighs 16 1/2 pounds now and is 25 1/2 inches long. He doesn't even look like my baby anymore since he's getting so big.

He's sitting up so well in the bumbo.

Early Christmas / Harris's Baptism

My computer crashed this week, so here are the pics that I have. More will follow later in the week when I've gotten my computer back.
Nick really loves his shoes - he can put them on ALL BY HIMSELF. Unfortunately, they don't match and he forgot his pants. He'll be the streaking frat boy in college in another 16 years.
My family from Cary and PA came into town on Saturday to celebrate an early Christmas. What fun!
Aunt Andrea & Harris
Uncle Dan, don't you know we don't play ball in the house?
What was that? I can't hear you!

Even Nick got in the spirit

Ooh, a present
On Sunday, we baptized Harrison at First United Methodist Church in Newton. The whole family came (more pictures to follow, thanks Meredith for taking them).

I know mom, hands behind my back. Don't touch the tree.
