Too Cute at (almost) Two

January Antics

Cara is approaching the last two weeks of being ONE.  I can't believe my baby isn't going to be a baby anymore.  Here are some funny outtakes of this month so far.

Discovery Kids

On Saturday, we went with the Wade's (Lisa & Lauren) and the Donley's to Discovery Kids in Huntersville.  I wasn't sure what to expect, but what the heck - we'd try it out.  It was a really neat place.  Everything was kid-sized and total learning through play.  The downside - WAY too many people.  The older I get, the less I like crowds.  Plus, it's really hard for two people to watch three children.  Nick was an angel (the best of the bunch).  Little did I know it was because he had the FLU!!!  Oh yes, he was the 2nd of our 3 children to get the flu.  Did I mention that all of them had flu shots? 

Here are some of the highlights of our day.

 Harrison has decided he wants to be a fireman when he grows up.  I'm proud - one of his friends wants to be Elmo!

SNOW!!!

So we were out for Christmas for 2 weeks.  We went back for a week, and now we've been out for three more days for SNOW!!!  Gotta love living in the South where everything shuts down when the white powdery stuff starts falling from the sky.  We made the most of our snow days though as you can see.

 As you can see, even the Dachshunds got bundled up for some fresh air.

 This temper tantrum happened before we even got outside.  She was MAD because her snow suit was blue and not pink.  Really, isn't she a little young to be this upset over an outfit?!

 We got the pink jacket on to cover the ugly blue and she seemed content.

 Although why she wanted to ride her tricycle in the snow is beyond me.
